AWARD-winning prog rock band Magenta will be playing at Garway Village Hall on Saturday.
Currently working on their eighth studio album and voted best live band by the Classic Rock Society last year, Magenta are the leading lights in the new wave of progressive rock.
Founder member Rob Reed was also placed first with his side project Kompendium for best album of 2012, and his award was presented to him by BBC broadcaster ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris.
Magenta very rarely play in the UK, normally playing festivals in the USA and South America but have agreed to play a one off gig at Garway village hall as a warm-up prior to their festival dates in the summer. Booking is recommended. Support will be classical guitar duo the Fry Brothers.
