BODENHAM will host its very first festival next month.
The spring festival will run for nine days from May 3.
A poetry evening, fun run, classic car show and produce market are just some of the activities being organised in the village.
Mary Nickols, chairman of the organising committee, said: “It’s great for the community in getting people of all ages together.”
There will also be an event during the festival to celebrate the 150 year anniversary of St Michael’s and all Angels’ school.
As well as photographs chronicling the school and past pupils, former headmaster Mr Herbert will be unveiling the new path circling the playing fields to mark the occasion.
