PARISH COUNCIL – The April meeting was held in the memorial hall with Coun R Baker in the chair, also present the clerk, Hereford Coun Graham Powell and seven members of the public.
PUBLIC FORUM – Matters raised included: a flooded drain near the doctor’s surgery, gaps in the recreation ground hedge, a pothole in Dark Lane and designation of footpath EH31i.
The poor state of a road near Nuthatch Cottage, Rowlestone, was also brought to the council’s attention.
COUNTY COUNCILLOR’S REPORT – Graham Powell updated on Broadband, City Link Road, local transport plan and noon, cost £3 per table.
BAPTIST CHAPEL – The youth band will be leading the service at 10.30am on the April 21.
RED CROSS GARDEN EVENT – At Whitfield on Wednesday, gates open from10.30am-4.30pm. For more information redcross.org.uk/gardeningevent.
