STAR of Radio 4’s The Shuttleworths and TV’s 500 Bus Stops, John Shuttleworth is back on the road after a long absence, venturing out beyond the garden gate to tread the mean streets of Britain, and heading for The Courtyard on Thursday, May 9.
He will explore those all-important questions; city life or country living? Supermarket or village shop? Or is it better to sit in the shed counting cobwebs?
Essentially decent and benevolent, but with a painful lack of self-awareness, the unfortunate gap between Shuttleworth’s actual musical talent and his steadfast belief in the possibility of his eventual pop super-stardom is the main source of the character's tragi-comedy.
John Shuttleworth will be at The Courtyard on Thursday, May 9 at 7.30pm. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555
