STEP back into the 60s as Save the Last Dance for Me comes to Malvern Theatres from Monday, April 29.
This nostalgic show will take you back to the summer of ’63, where, for the first time without their parents, two sisters embark on a seaside holiday. Full of freedom and high spirits they meet a handsome young American who invites them to a dance at the local US Air force base. But young love and holiday romance is never as simple as it sounds, and the sisters soon realise that while the world around them is still watching itself in black and white, life and love can be much more colourful.
Written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather, Shine on Harvey Moon) and featuring the hits of the time, among them A Teenager in Love, Sweets for my Sweet, His Latest Flame, Viva Las Vegas and Save the Last Dance for Me.
Save The Last Dance For Me, from the team that created Dreamboats and Petticoats, is at Malvern Theatres from Monday, April 29 to Saturday, May 4. To book call the box office on 01684 892277
