THREE hairdressers from a Hereford salon have made progress in a national competition.
John Lucock, Sam Millard and Shelly Wyatt of Peter Prosser Hairdressing, will compete in the regional finals of the Wella Professionals TrendVision Awards 2013.
They were chosen from hundreds of entries to compete in the Midlands finals of the competition, set to take place at the East Midlands Conference Centre on Monday May 20.
“It’s an honour to be representing Peter Prosser Hairdressing at the regional finals,” said Sam, the newest member of the Peter Prosser Art Team.
“It’s an amazing opportunity to showcase our work and I’m confident that we can bring the trophy home to Hereford.”
John is representing his salon in the colour category, while Sam and Shelly will go up against each other in the Young Talent category.
Selected by a judging panel, including some of hairdressing’s biggest names and editors from the industry’s leading publications, they will showcase their work in an evening catwalk show.
John, Sam and Shelly will each now be hoping to wow the judges for a chance to make it through to the UK and Ireland Final, which takes place on October 7 at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.
