A FOR sale sign caused a gas leak in Hereford.
Firefighters were called to Kernal Road, Whitecross, at 9.55am on Friday.
Julie Wedgbury, spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, said that the leak was caused by a for sale sign being pushed through a gas pipe.
She added that crews cordoned off the area, but there were no reports of any injuries.
