AN author is visiting Leominster to speak to the Mortimer History Society.
Juliet Barker, who is visiting Earl Mortimer College on Saturday May 11, is set to publish her study on the Peasants' Revolt and this will be the subject of her talk.
This will provide a snapshot of what everyday life was like for ordinary people living in the Middle Ages.
Her talk will be one of four looking at life in the reign of Richard II.
Benjamin Thompson will be illustrating the times from literature including Chaucer.
Ian Mortimer will be telling the story of the Mortimers, and Paul Remfry launches the publication of an entirely new version of the Wigmore Chronicle.
