A NUMBER of vehicles were stopped in the county last week as part of an operation to target rogue traders.

Automatic number plate recognition checks were carried out as part of the scheme run by West Mercia Police and Trading Standards, which resulted in 16 offences being dealt with from 43 vehicles stopped.

Of those, three were found to have had no MOT and two with no insurance.

One vehicle was seized and the driver dealt with by the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA).
