A SAS hero will give a talk in Hereford on the Iranian Embassy siege.
Pete Winner, one of the men responsible for its triumphant outcome on May 5 1980, will provide an insider's account at the Courtyard.
The siege immortalised the regiment through live broadcasts on national and international television with its members
storming London’s Iranian Embassy and rescuing hostages held at gunpoint by Arab revolutionaries.
The talk, presented by the Herefordshire branch of ABF The Soliders Charity, starts at 7pm on Tuesday May 7.
Mr Winner will explain the key events as they unfolded from the initial build-up through to the event's dramatic climax.
