A TEENAGE boy was injured in a 'hit and run' collision on Thursday (April 25).
The boy was on his bicycle crossing Ross Road, Hereford, near the Ship Inn at around 5.30pm when he was involved in a collision with a car.
The driver did not stop at the scene and carried on driving along Ross Road away from the city centre.
The silver car was being driven by a white man aged 30 to 40.
PC Phil Harvey said: “Thankfully, the boy was not badly hurt in the collision but we do need to speak to the driver of the car involved and I would urge him to call us.
“This happened during rush hour and we know that at least one person stopped to see if the boy was ok. We are keen to speak to that person and also, anyone else who may have witnessed the incident as there would have been a number of drivers and pedestrians around at the time."
Anyone with information can call Hereford police station on 0300 333 3000 quoting reference 511S 250413.
