TWO men have been arrested after a raid uncovered more than 85,000 illegal cigarettes at a Leominster shop.
Herefordshire Council trading standards and West Mercia Police found the stash which had a street value of £15,000.
The cigarettes – which were non-UK duty paid – were a combination of smuggled and counterfeit packets.
More than eight kilograms of illegal hand rolling tobacco was also seized.
The men were arrested at the premises and later bailed pending further enquiries.
