HEREFORD’S Body Shop branch welcomed a charity to open up its refurbished premises on Saturday.
Gemma and Helen Davies set up Beth's Wish in memory of 20-year-old Bethan Davies from Belmont, who died in September after being diagnosed with a rare form of an already rare cancer, Pheochromocytoma.
Beth’s family and friends are trying to raise a minimum of £100,000 to open a dedicated young person’s room in the ongoing development at St Michael’s Hospice, and the Body Shop has pledged to support them.
Vikki Kirkham, assistant manager at the Body Shop, said it is backing Beth’s Wish by selling wristbands and keeping a charity collection pot in store.
