CROFT Castle will be hosting a fantastic day of art on Monday, when, as part of the Time Will Tell exhibition, visitors will be invited to join the Artchaeologists of The House of Fairy Tales for a day of adventure and workshops for all ages.

In the endless rooms inside the Tardis-like cabin of their balloon ship are the people of The House of Fairy Tales. Guided by the shadowy figure of The Captain they travel the universe to bring together curious characters and strange artefacts in mysterious adventures of magic, art, history and fun.

Meadow Arts’ Rebecca Farkas said, “I can’t wait to see the children’s reactions when they join in with the unusual tasks and complete their beautiful map to become ‘artchaeologists’ themselves. The Clockwise Conundrum at Croft Castle will offer a unique chance for an instinctive, playful and somewhat silly interaction with the artworks in Time Will Tell.”

Croft Castle and Parkland is open 10am to 5pm until 3 November. The castle will be open fully from 11am with last entry at 4.30pm on Monday. Normal admission applies (National Trust members free).
