THE Courtyard is putting on a free comedy event at Wye Valley Brewery’s The Barrels pub in St Owens Street on Saturday, May 11.
Hilarious up-and-coming local comedienne Vikki Stone will take to the stage with her keyboard and witty ditties. She has emerged on to the comedy scene after declaring her love for Phillip Schofield via Youtube, where she can also be found demonstrating how get the Hilary Devey look.
The event is being put on by The Courtyard to support its upcoming comedy festival #Courtlaughing and is open to the general public, but some content is not suitable for younger children.The event also offers the opportunity to enjoy a pint of Wye Valley brewery’s special #Courtlaughing brew, Dorothy Goodbody’s Barrel of Laughs.
The festival, which runs from Friday, June 7, to Sunday, June 9, sees veteran comedian and Never Mind the Buzzcocks star Phill Jupitus, dry-witted American ironist Rich Hall and emerging comedy star Josh Widdicombe perform at The Courtyard.
Vikki Stone will also be one of the judges for the Wye Valley Brewery Open Mic Night on Saturday, June 8.
