A LEOMINSTER care home has celebrated its fifth anniversary.
Waverley House celebrated with a birthday party attended by 25 guests that included cabinet member for health and wellbeing, Councillor Patricia Morgan.
Guests were given guided tours of the home – which provides accommodation for 47 residents and offers day care, convalescent care, physiotherapy and independent living training.
The home – run by Shaw healthcare on behalf of Herefordshire County Council – also provides a separate dementia care service for people living with different types of dementia such as Alzheimer’s.
