GOLFERS are invited to take their skills to the highest possible level.
The National Trust is hosting its first golf event in Herefordshire at Kington Golf Course on Saturday July 6.
The golf day is an exclusive opportunity for National Trust members, volunteers and employees to experience the highest 18 hole golf course in England.
There will be competitions, a guided walk, food, and the chance to enjoy the spectacular views.
A selection of prizes will be up for grabs with lots of competitions, as well as the chance to learn from a professional.
There will also be a guided walk led by countryside manager Iain Carter, as well as a tour of the hill with reptile expert Nigel Hand.
Those taking part can find out how the trust’s countryside team manages Bradnor Hill and learn about its wildlife including its rich assemblage of breeding birds and migrants.
David Bailey, National Trust general manager for Herefordshire, said: “This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone who hasn’t visited Bradnor Hill before. Visitors can make the most of the golf club’s facilities as well as the opportunity to see the most inspiring views of Herefordshire and neighbouring counties.”
To book a place email richard.kington.gc@gmail.com or call Richard Williams on 01547 520 057.
Tee times will be from 10am and the guided walk will start at 11.30am.
