A rail safety awareness event in Leominster will highlight the dangers of level crossings.
A RAIL safety awareness event is to take place in Leominster tomorrow, (Wednesday), to try and cut the number of accidents at level crossings.
Nine people were killed at crossings in the UK last year, with a further 453 people involved in a "near miss".
There were also 10 collisions between vehicles and trains and a further 33 vehicles that struck and damaged barriers.
The event will be at Mill Street from 9am to 1pm.
