TWO men have been arrested in connection with an assault on a man in Ledbury on the weekend.
The incident took place just after 11pm on Saturday on the High Street, close to the clock tower.
The victim, in his 50s, was assaulted by two men who then walked off towards Bye Street.
He sustained facial injuries and was taken by an ambulance to Hereford County Hospital for treatment.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and were released on police bail until June 4.
