MOST people like to stop off at a pub whenever they cycle, but three Bromyard men have set the bar much higher.
Gavin Price, Kerstin Morris and Scott Woodhouse aim to take in at least 100 watering holes on May 26 when they cycle across Herefordshire.
However, the only liquid refreshment on offer for the trio will be squash as they raise money for St Michael’s Hospice and Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue – as well as awareness for the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
“We will be starting in Symonds Yat , before going through Ross, then Ledbury, Hereford and Leominster before finishing in Bromyard,” said Scott, who is 38.
“We will start at 6am and hope to finish 10 hours later.
“The target is 125 pubs, but as long as we do 100, then we will be happy.
“It will be a chance to raise awareness of the amount of great pubs that there are in Herefordshire, as well as raising some money for charity.”
