SIR EDWARD ELGAR’S COUNTRYSIDE - Tickets to hear Brian Draper's illustrated talk on this subject can be obtained on 01981 240574. He will be speaking in St Michael’s Hall, Ewyas Harold tomorrow (Friday) starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £8 to include a ploughman’s supper.
NATIONAL OPEN MILLS WEEKEND - Rowlestone Mill will be open 10am-6pm on Saturday in aid of Rowlestone Village Hall.
Fair Oak Farm, Bacton, opens 2pm-6pm on Saturday in aid of the Laurie Engel Teenage Cancer Fund. Home Farm, Dulas, will also be open on Saturday, 2pm- 5pm.
BENEFICE BIBLE STUDY - At the rectory on Tuesday starting at 10am, May begins a series on St John’s Gospel. All are welcome.
WI – In April attendees were looking forward to hearing Jen Millar a local author but due to ill health she was unable to attend, so members amused themselves with various quizzes. On Tuesday Karen Vann Hoff will be talking about jewellery.
Meet in the memorial hall at 7.30pm; visitors and new members are always welcome.
