A YOUTH has been arrested after a cashier was forced to hand over money at a Hereford shop.
It is alleged that the youth used a knife during the robbery at Redhill Stores in Mayberry Avenue at 2pm yesterday.
Police carried out an intensive search of the area following the incident, including a police helicopter and dog handlers.
A male was arrested nearby on suspicion of robbery and remains in police custody.
The cashier was not injured.
