THE new president of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs is to visit Herefordshire in one of his first engagements.
Poul Christensen CBE is the organisation's new president after television presenter Matt Baker stepped down from the post he has held for two years.
Mr Christensen, who is also chair of Natural England, will visit the Herefordshire Federation Of Young Farmers' Annual County Rally.
This takes place on Saturday (May 18) at Hurstley Court, Kinnersley, by permission of Mr and Mrs Bert Thomas and family.
The event will be followed by the rally dance also at Hurstley Court.
Admission for the rally for non-members is £5 for adults, £3 for 10 to16-year-olds, with children under-10 free.
