THE Old Chapel Gallery in Pembridge has opened its annual garden sculpture exhibition, which will run throughout the summer.
On display is a range of work in a variety of media by talented designer/makers including Louise Shotter, who is new to the gallery, with her collection of unusual one-off frost-proof stoneware pieces, among them a giraffe’s head, an elephant and a lidded hawk pot.
Another new exhibitor, Lyn Harrison makes functional and decorative garden pots in stoneware decorated with slips, glazes with a woodash finish, while Simon Griffiths creates unique birds and animals in stoneware.
Five artist blacksmiths will be showing a collection of their latest work in forged steel, and Herefordshire-based sculptor David England has new work on display.
Completing the line-up is sculptor Helen Sinclair who produces limited edition and unique contemporary sculpture in stone resin.
The gallery is open Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm and from 11am to 4pm on Sundays.
