A MOBILE home was destroyed by fire in Hereford on Saturday.
Firefighters were called to Widemarsh Street just after 9.35am and used a hose reel to tackle the blaze.
All the occupants were safely evacuated and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders were isolated.
“This was a severe fire and it was fortunate that the occupants noticed it when they did and were able to escape unharmed,” said station commander Neil Pigott, from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.
“It serves as a reminder for everyone with a mobile home or caravan to ensure that they have smoke detectors fitted and that these are tested on a regular basis.
“As with a smoke alarm in your home, a working alarm really can save lives.”
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault in the fridge.
