A SHED and its contents were completely destroyed by fire in Moreton-on-Lugg last night.
Two fire engines were called to Cedar Close at 8.10pm, with crews using two hose reel jets and a main jet.
Western Power was also called to isolate some fallen power lines.
A man, who sustained burns to his hands as he tried to fight the fire in the early stages with a garden hose, was treated by paramedics at the scene.
There was also some damage to the fence of an adjacent property.
The fire involved a log burning stove in the shed.
"We'd urge anyone heating their sheds and other outbuildings to exercise caution," said station commander Adrian Thompson, from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.
"Take as much care as you would with your heating in the home and never leave the shed unattended with the heating still on."
