SOLDIERS will take on a gruelling task for charity.
Around nine soldiers belonging to the 21st Signal Regiment (Air Support) will run from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham to Yates’s Bar in Hereford on May 26 to raise funds for Beth’s Wish, a charity set up to raise money to build a room in the new St Michael’s Hospice.
They will set off at 9am, running the route along the canal tow paths to Worcester and then on to Hereford, where they aim to arrive at 7pm.
People are invited to show their support by going to the reception at Yates’s at 7pm.
