A HEREFORDSHIRE landscape architect has won gold again at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
The show garden was designed by Robert Myers, of Robert Myers Associates based in Kington, and adds to his achievements as a multi-award winning gardener with an exceptional eye for detail.
The garden, described as understated and elegant, includes rounded pebble seats, a cantilevered timber canopy, steel and timber cantilevered slats, and two metre high walls encompassing a repeat leaf print motif.
“When Brewin Dolphin asked me to build its garden I jumped at the chance – I knew the brief would be great fun to work with and I’m so pleased I have been able to deliver," said Robert.
"It’s been a very tough year for gardeners across the UK – the weather was extraordinary but we pulled through and created something to be proud of."
Brewin Dolphin is offering gardeners the chance to discuss their own garden with Robert. To enter visit brewin.co.uk/Chelsea for more information.
Robert has previously won five gold medals at Chelsea and has also won some high profile commissions including designing a children’s garden
at Hampton Court Palace and new garden at Christ Church Spitalfields in London.
Robert Myers Associates previously designed the improvements in Cathedral Close, Hereford.
