PARISH COUNCIL - At the last meeting on May 7 details of the Welsh Water renewal scheme were given and information from Clehonger transport focus group highlighting that the evening bus service may be lost if it is not used was read out. Posters relating to this would be displayed around the village and if people value this service and want it retained they need to use it or it may very well be lost when bus services are reviewed. Residents had made a complaint about heavy traffic through Shenmore, but there is little that can be done about this as the vehicles can legally use the road. Several potholes in Shenmore had been reported by the clerk and given a defect number for attention by county council contractor Amey. If members of the public would like to report potholes or highway defects directly they can do this by either emailing streets@herefordshire.
gov.uk or ringing 01432 261800.
The next meeting is on Tuesday at 7.15pm in the parish hall. All are welcome.
