FESTIVAL WEEKEND - As part of this event a choral workshop to sing and perform Mozart’s Requiem Mass will take place on July 14, at Clodock church. Check in at 2.30pm, workshop from 3pm-4.30pm followed by tea and performance at 6pm. The conductor is Sir Richard Mynors and organist Mr John Jenkin.

COMPASS FUND-RAISING EVENT - Takes place on Wednesday, 6.30pm at Tymawr, Michaelchurch Escley. Tickets cost £5 to include refreshments.
All money raised goes to First Responders based in the Longtown, Dulas and Michaelchurch area. There will be a variety of stalls and raffle. Do come and support this worthwhile event.
SCHOOLS - Longtown and Michaelchurch federation of schools. At both sites the gardening clubs are thriving.
Children in class two at Longtown were making and baking garlic bread last week using the outdoor oven. At Michaelchurch children are planting up the pots and tubs to enhance the school grounds. The federation has recently launched a new website which is receiving favourable comments.
