KEITH St Peters Academy (KSPA) has been celebrating its learners’ success at its hair and beauty photographic exhibition
This was hosted by Hereford College of Arts (HCA) in its new Arts Space on Folly Lane and was a result of a collaborative project between learners from KSPA and BA (Hons) photography at the college.
Following the themes of fantasy and vintage, industry experts judged the work of both hair and beauty courses.
The learner of the year award for hairdressing went to level two apprentice Danielle Neville, of Peter Charles Hairdressing in Ross-on-Wye, and the equivalent award for beauty went to level two learner Lucinda Green.
The finished exhibition demonstrated the specialist techniques and professional knowledge that learners have gained from their respective courses both at KSPA and HCA.
Sophia Lloyd, training manager at Keith St Peters Academy, said: "The exhibition is a fabulous way for our learners to experience a professional photo shoot and to show the world how amazing it can be to train and achieve great things.
"We want to encourage our learners to have aspiration and think beyond their training to their future careers.”
The Keith St Peters Beauty Academy is based in St Peters Square, Hereford, while its hair academy is based in Bridge Street.
