CHURCH FETE - The event was held at Sufton Court in excellent weather. The net total raised was £1,272.57. Special thanks go to the Lugg Valley Archers, encouraging people to try out a new skill, adding colour and novelty targets.
The three classic cars were much admired. The PCC thanks all those who helped with stalls, children's corner raffle prizes and the delicious refreshments making it such a successful event.
POST OFFICE - The parish council has received notice from the Post Office of a public consultation period, proposing a change to the outreach service at Mordiford Post Office. The consultation will end on August 14. The current opening times are 1.30pm-4.30pm on Tuesdays and 8.30am-10.30am on Thursdays. The proposal is to scrap the Tuesday opening.
