COUNCIL - Aymestrey Parish Council meets on Wednesday in the parish hall at 7.30pm.
Residents are very welcome to attend and the agenda will be placed on the notice boards a few days before the meeting.
CHURCH - There will be a service of holy communion at Aymestrey on August 4 at 11am.
Running alongside next month’s flower festival, will be a history exhibition in Aymestrey Parish Hall, showing Aymestrey and Leinthall Earls as they used to be. Organisers are asking anyone who has pictures of parish people, places or events which could be displayed to contact Meg Thorpe or Chrissie Lawson. Refreshments will be available in the parish hall. A festival concert will be held on August 16 and the weekend concludes with songs of praise in the church on August 18 at 6.30pm.
