ENVIRONMENTAL CENTRE – Today (Thursday), 10am – wild art, make woodland sculptures, paint with natural materials and take leaf rubbings. 1pm woodland games, play the alphabet scavenger hunt, blindfold games and hunt the hedgehog.
Tuesday, 10am, feast and forage – find out what would've been eaten in the old days and forage for food to cook on the fire. 1pm pond explorers – pond dipping and creature craft.
Thursday, August 8, 10am – den building – make and play in dens in the woods. 1pm wacky water games – play the leaky tubes and bottomless bucket games followed by parachute games – bring a towel.
Morning sessions are 10am to 12 noon and afternoon sessions are 1pm to 3pm. Choose a full day (£10) or half day (£6). Adults free.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and booking is essential.
MESC are holding activities every Tuesday and Thursday of the summer holidays until August 15.
