CREDENHILL CANTER - The committee is in the final stages of organising the Credenhill Canter, taking place on August 25.
However it is still looking for more volunteers to act as marshals around the route of the race. The Credenhill Canter is a 10km multi-terrain race through the countryside starting and finishing at Credenhill Social Cclub and Community Centre. Last year’s first attempt raised £2,500 for local charities. This year it is hoped to do even better for adopted charity the Hereford special care baby unit. The committee has already organised live entertainment, a pig roast, bouncy castle and other things to keep supporters and spectators entertained during and after the race.
Anyone willing to give up a couple of hours of their time for this worthy cause should call Les on 01432 760600 or email Ian Lancaster at ianlancaster773@ btinternet.com.
