LIBRARY - The village’s own community library now has an even bigger stock of maps and travel guides to help readers make the most of their holiday time. It is the only library in the area to have a collection of OS Explorer Active maps, providing detailed coverage for day trips and holidays including the South Downs, Cornwall, Wales, the Cotswolds and Lake District, as well as the Brecon Beacons and Wye Valley. There is also a wide selection of local walking guides - ideal companions to those allweather laminated maps. The library is run by and for the local community and the loan of books, maps, CDs and DVDs is free. The library is open on Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons in Faulkner House.
