RIDE AND STRIDE - This annual event in aid of historic churches and chapels takes place on September 14. People from Aymestrey and Leinthall Earls will be taking part in what is usually a leisurely meander around the lanes and churches in the surrounding countryside. Anyone wishing to join will be most welcome, and can be assured that hills and main roads are avoided unless absolutely necessary. It is always a fun day out and helps to raise money for local churches and the Historic Churches Trust.
