TEME SPIRITS - The light entertainment group from Knighton has announced the title of its next performance. Farewell Frocks and Footlights is a musical written by Hilary Baker, Carole Pigram and Katie Mohamed. The group is looking for more young people to join the cast. Anyone interested in taking part in the performance at the beginning of February must be aged 16 by the date of the show. Rehearsals have started at the community centre on Tuesdays at 7.30pm. COFFEE MORNING - Knighton Community Support will be holding its autumn coffee morning on Wednesday at the community centre from 10am. There will be information, bric-a-brac and craft stalls as well as tea, coffee and bacon butties. The raffle will be drawn on the day offering some lovely prizes. All are welcome.

BIKE POWER - For those adventurous people who fancy touring the hills of the English-Welsh borders by electric bike it has now become easier to recharge both themselves and their bikes because there are now three recharging points in Knighton.

Electric bikes can be re-charged at Tower House Gallery, Prince and Pugh (both with their own coffee shops) and at Bradfords, on the corner opposite the Knighton Hotel and within a few yards’ walk of another pub and two cafes. The speaker will be Pam Pittwood and her talk will be entitled Shortening Days. The competition will be for the largest dahlia bloom.

BINGO (2) - There will be a bingo session at Knucklas Community Centre on Saturday, doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start. Children are welcome accompanied by an adult. Lots of prizes on offer.
