FLICKS IN THE STICKS - The next film to be shown as part of the flicks in the sticks season will be I Give it a Year (15), on October 11. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Refreshments will be available.
EVENTS IN THE CHAPEL - Tomorrow (Friday) there will be ‘a look back at 2013 - part 1’. This will feature a miscellany of images taken in the first part of 2013, including the Bodenham festival and scarecrows and will be presented by Dave Hill.
The café at the chapel is open every Wednesday from 10.30am till noon. All are welcome.
HEREFORD RAIL MALE VOICE CHOIR - The choir will be giving a concert at St Michael and All Angels church in Bodenham tomorrow (Friday), starting at 7pm. Tickets are just £7 and are available from Veronica Howell or at the door on the night.
PARISH COUNCIL - The next parish council meeting will be Monday, at the Siward James Centre. There will be an opportunity during the course of the meeting for residents to raise any matters of local concern. If anyone would like to raise an issue, it would be helpful – but not essential – if they could inform the parish clerk, Dr Christopher Smith, by telephone on 01568 797132 or email at bodenhampcclerk@gmail.com in advance of the meeting.
THE LEISURE CLUB - The club will meet in the parish hall at 2.30pm on October 14, for a presentation on the art of making chocolates. New members always welcome.
FILM EVENING - The Friends of Herefordshire Museums and Arts have arranged a film evening at Bodenham Parish Hall tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm. Amanda Huntley from the Herefordshire based Huntley Film Archive will be presenting Old Herefordshire on Film. Tickets £10 available on the evening. Contact 01432 264366.
