PARISH NEWS - Clehonger Parish Council is delighted to announce that at the recent meeting of the parish council, held on September 19, there were presentations of three cheques to be added to the ring-fenced Playing Field Development Fund. There was one for £1,000 from the Clehonger Community Group, £500 from the Clehonger Jubilee Group and £60 from the Tuesday Group. The total of the fund now stands at a fantastic £7,560 and a huge thank you goes out to everyone who has worked so hard to raise the funds.
The vision for the playing field, of being a place for fun and relaxation for all, is getting closer. Well done everyone. Parish Plan questionnaires will be delivered shortly, to houses in the parish, please take the time to fill one in and let the council know what you would like to see happening in the village. The next meeting of the parish council will be on October 17 at 7.30pm in the Innesfield community centre, Clehonger. All are welcome, as always.
