BRYN BARN SERVICE - With the focus on farming, was well attended and appreciated, its harvest theme being evident from the prayers, readings, hymns and poems included.
The evening was led by Robin Hill with contributions from Richard and Joy James, Christine and Jervase Guy, Pat Hill, Helen Cole, Sheila Hughes, Llanwenarth Friends and the Bryn Sisters. The whole evening proved a way of sharing concerns, supporting farmers with various problems and giving thanks for God’s provision. Christine Hope gave a short talk about the Farming Community Network (FCN), the charity of which she is a trustee. A donation of £200 was passed to the FCN for its continued work. Thanks go to all who supported the event and it is hoped it will be possible to invite an agricultural chaplain for next year.
