A TEENAGER has undergone a total transformation by having all her hair shaved off.
Karrianne Humphreys, from Kinsham, near Presteigne, underwent the 'Jessie J look' at Arkright Village Hall on Saturday.
The 14-year-old Wigmore High School pupil has so far raised £800 for Macmillan Cancer Support after losing loved ones to the disease.
Karrianne's hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, a Hereford-based charity that provides real hair wigs for children who have lost their own hair, usually as a result of treatment for cancer.
"We would like to thank the Premier Shop and local tradesmen from Presteigne for their support and donations, as well as the help from family and friends," said Karrianne's mum Kath Hoyle.
"Karrianne is an inspiration to all 14-year-olds today and I am very proud of her."
The teenager was not the only person in the county who decided to chop their locks.
Debbie Martin said she wanted to thank the Macmillan nurses for the support she has shown her father Arthur who is currently undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma, a cancer of the blood cells.
Debbie works at Herefordshire Council and her colleague Lynn Dawe decided to support her and also have her hair shaved.
The pair had it cut at Cameo Hairdressers in Eign Street, Hereford, and have so far raised £800.
