HEREFORD retailer Simply Stunning Interiors has announced a new appointment.

The business, based at the old Farmers Club in Widemarsh Street, has appointed Trixie Hackley as interiors advisor and buyer. Simply Stunning has also acquired the stock and assets of her company Unique Interiors.

Harm Volders, general manager of Simply Stunning, said: "We've seen a very positive year with our expansion into Hereford city and Trixie's appointment will enable us to significantly increase our key accounts and gives us an unrivalled fabric department."

Simply Stunning Interiors expanded from its base at Wormelow in April with the opening of its new Hereford shop. This coincided with the opening of the Old Market development.

Martin Pearson, managing director of Simply Stunning who has overseen the expansion, said: "Our goal has always been to create the ultimate interiors retail experience and this opportunity gets us much closer to our goal now that we can offer additional services such as in-house paint mixing, and quality branded products such as Parker Knoll sofas."
