EASTER Monday offers the first chance to see a collection of work by members of the Clehonger Art Group at the Old Mayor’s Parlour gallery in Church Street.
The exhibition, showing the colour in the artists' lives, which runs until Sunday, April 12, features a collection of pieces by eight Herefordshire-based creatives working in a range of media including bronze, glass, egg tempera, oil, acrylic and watercolour.
Each artist captures the colours of the life around them in a diverse selection of subjects including architecture, flowers, weekend pursuits, the river Wye, the May Fair with the coastal areas of the Marches inspiring three of the artists.
The Clehonger Art Group evolved over the last nine years during the annual h.Art event each September and has a core of Clehonger-based members with invited artists each year. The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5pm, on a show and sell basis so you can take bought works away with you. Other works will then be hung to replace those sold.
