THERE is only one party that can fund the NHS for the next five years and has the only practical solutions to funding the next 25 years of free service to the people of Britain and that is UKIP.
Why? Because UKIP will stop the privatisation of the health service. “ Buy out” the Private Finance Initiative hospitals such as Hereford County Hospital which makes profit from renting facilities to Herefordshire people plus the parking charges from the people who visit.
The British National Health Service costs £112 billion per year to run which will increase to £300 billion by 2025.
We need to take out the profits for the Scandinavian banks who are behind the PFI schemes by building hospitals owned by the British people/state instead.
UKIP will extend the reach of the NHS out of the hospitals and doctors’ surgeries and into the community so that social care, and care workers become an extension of NHS care systems integrated locally from a new Herefordshire Health Board which will also have control over spending.
The new boards will also have responsibility for quality standards and will be encouraged to take evidence from whistleblowers and patients with grievances.
The ineffective CQC will be disbanded.
Without further borrowing UKIP will be able to spend an extra £3 billion on front line services, plus £650million over five years on dementia care, increase social care for the elderly to £1 billion, scrap tuition fees for medical students and reinstate SEN-trained nurses on wards.
Britain can’t afford to be the international health service but we can afford to look after our own people provided that we remove ourselves from the effects of the European Union /America TTIP trade deal which threatens unlimited litigation against this remarkable achievement; the free British NHS.
