ARTIST and illustrator Shelly Perkins is returning to iapetus gallery in Great Malvern with a new collection of her beautiful illustrations of creatures great and small. The new exhibition, entitled On Nature’s Tail, will include many new pieces including a specially created aerial view of the Malvern Hills.
"My desire to portray the natural world, as I see it, is a constant explorative study of
movement, texture, form, light and colour," says Shelly. "A love of the outdoors and the adventurous and inquisitive nature of my travels through the countryside are constantly informing, surprising, and enhancing my perspective of the landscapes and wildlife that have become such sources of inspiration for my illustration work"
The exhibition opens on Saturday, and runs until Saturday, May 16.
