A VILLAGE Post Office is currently closed after a member of staff left.

Peterstow Post Office, near Ross-on-Wye, will be closed until they can recruit a new member of staff to run it.

The shop is still running as normal in the village, but the PO is closed until further notice.

A Post Office spokesman said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the Post Office branch in Peterstow.

"We would like to reassure customers that we are working hard to restore the service to the community as soon as possible and are committed to maintaining services in the area.”
