A WOMAN was trapped in a car following an accident between Leominster and Monkland.
A grey Leyland Daf lorry and a red Volkswagen Golf were in collision on the A44 between junctions with the A4110 and the B4529 Police were called to the accident last Wednesday at 4.08pm.
Two fire engines from Leominster also attended and removed the roof of the Volkswagen to release a female passenger.
She was taken to Hereford County Hospital by land ambulance with non-life threatening injuries and another casualty was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed while emergency services were at the scene but was re-opened by 6.10pm.
