HEREFORDSHIRE landmarks such as Wigmore Castle ruins and the Neolithic burial chamber of Arthur's Stone, feature in a new English Heritage guidebook series.
The Heritage Unlocked series of eight guidebooks provides an introduction to more than 250 ancient and historic sites in the West Midlands where entry is free.
Sites include prehistoric remains and castles and abbeys, as well as country houses and even entire deserted villages.
The guides are available through English Heritage admission-charging sites and high street bookshops.
