A Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine!
The Dean Forest Railway (based near Lydney) is running another of its very popular Day out with Thomas' events from Thursday 31st May to Sunday 3rd June.
10 Family Tickets Must Be Won - a Total Prize Package Worth £300!
Thomas, Oliver, Diesel and Daisy will all be there and children will marvel as characters from the classic stories come alive. They can see Thomas and Diesel with the Troublesome Trucks - and travel aboard Daisy as she goes on a story-telling trip into the forest to Parkend and join in the fun as she chases the steam train. There are also short guard's van rides in Toad, pulled by Thomas, for a really atmospheric experience.
Other treats include rides on a miniature steam railway, Thomas Video shows, Punch & Judy, face painting, a roundabout and the opportunity to have a photo taken with the Fat Controller -and of course, Thomas - to remind everyone of a great day out.
Norchard Station has a large free car park. There is also a café, museum and a gift shop selling a large range of Thomas the Tank Engine gifts.
Visit www.deanforestrailway.co.uk or phone 01594 845840 for more details of this exciting day out. Just turn up on the day - or to be sure of getting into this very popular event tickets can be booked in advance by phone.
